Hours of Operation

Office:
Wednesdays and Fridays, 10:00am to 2:00pm.                             

Tours:                 
The Cresse-Holmes House Museum and Smith Barn are accessible through guided tours only. Tours are approximately an hour and a half long. Tours are available on Wednesdays and Fridays at 10:00am and 12:00pm. 

Library:               
Research at the Robert Alexander Library is by appointment only. To request an appointment or to inquire about having the library staff complete research, please email them directly at cmchgslibrary@gmail.com. 

Gallery:              
Guests may enjoy free admission to our gallery (located in the administrative building) during regular office hours. The Gallery houses rolling exhibits of county history.

Coming from the north:
Take the Garden State Parkway South to exit 11 (Crest Haven). Make a right turn at light at bottom of ramp. Follow road to Cape County Zoo main entrance (Route 9).  Make left turn at light onto Route 9 South.  The Museum is about 1/4 mile on the left. 

Coming from the south:
Take the Garden State Parkway North to exit 11 (Crest Haven). Make a left turn at bottom of ramp.  Follow road to Cape May County Zoo main entrance (Route 9).  Make left turn at light onto Route 9 South.  The Museum is about 1/4 mile on the left.
