We are proud to share Revolutionary Cape May County: A 250th Anniversary Celebration - a special magazine dedicated to the incredible story of Cape May County during the American Revolution. This publication is the result of a collaboration between the Museum of Cape May County and members of the Cape History Coalition, bringing together historians, museums, and historical societies from across the county to tell this story together. Inside you'll find new research, firsthand accounts from Revolutionary War pension files, and stories of the soldiers, privateers, and eveyday people who shaped Cape May County's role in the fight for independence - including some stories that have never before appeard in print. Funding was made possible by the Cape May County Board of County Commissioners.

Here you can also watch a short video about Cape May County during the Revolutionary War, presented by Cape May County Clerk and Historian Rita M. Rothberg: Cape May County and the Fight for Independence
